THE MISSION
OF MWVCTA

The Mt. Washington Valley Community Tennis Association of NH is a non-profit organization formed with the mission of promoting the sport of tennis in our area including North Conway NH, Bartlett NH, Jackson NH, Conway NH, Madison, Freedom NH and beyond.

Our hope is to encourage the growth of this great sport by bringing new players with the desire to learn together with experienced players with the desire to teach.

CONWAY — If you’ve been missing
your tennis career or hoping to start
one, the Mt. Washington Valley CTA
can help.
The Mt. Washington Valley CTA is
a group comprised of more than 60 of
your friends and neighbors, dedicated
to providing the opportunity for players,
former players and future players
of all ages and abilities to get involved
in tennis.
The CTA has hosted workshops,
tournaments, free clinics, tennis
parties and has held adult summer
leagues and summer kids’ lessons.
“We are looking for a school to adopt
to become active in tennis. If you
would like your child’s school to be the
chosen one, volunteer to help with the
program,” Nancy Osborne, of the CTA,
said.
Members of the club work closely
with the United States Tennis Association
New England and can facilitate
participation in Jr. Team Tennis, local
adult tournaments and can help tap
available resources reserved for tennis-
related programs and grants.

Osborne said Mt. Washington Valley
CTA also is looking for volunteers
interested in organizing tournaments
and coaching youths. Volunteering
as a coach does not require previous
playing or coaching experience.
The association can also help organize
a recreational coaches’ workshop,
a one-day interactive event that
teaches the basics of coaching youth
tennis.
